The Black Hawk College digital photography class was recently invited to the new photography studio of Ford and Brown. Joshua Ford and A.J. Brown are architectural still photographers by trade, applying that specific skill set to video and film production created at Ford and Brown. Joshua also runs Ford Photography and A.J. runs A.J. Brown Imaging. Working together or separately, these two photographers produce great work. They were gracious enough to take time from their work to give the class a tour of their new studio in downtown Moline. Joshua and A.J. shared some of their current and past works, as well as an insightful, open talk about their careers in photography. Be sure to check out the awesome work of Ford and Brown. A big thanks to Joshua and A.J. for allowing the whole class to hangout and for making us feel welcome.
It's that time of year again to submit your work for the student show in Art Space! Each student may submit up to three pieces total. All media and art forms are eligible (Photography, Drawing, Graphic Design, Painting, Illustration, Digital Imagery, etc.). If you need assistance selecting works or preparing them for exhibition, contact your art faculty members. Please attach a tag to each of the pieces you are submitting (Label file can be downloaded below). Good luck!
